Port of Tangier - Morocco
Thinking about Morocco, its world-renowned traditional architecture is among the first things that come to one’s mind.
It’s certainly no easy task to measure up to for a present-day architect or designer. The most important elements are, of course, characteristic of the design itself and clearly notated in the plan documentation. Others, however, are a question of fine-tuning during the 3D modeling-rendering process and are highly dependent on the 3D Artist’s skills, and sense of style.
The Port of Tangier is a perfect project to demonstrate all of the above. We incorporated arched doorways, tile cladding, and intricate patterns into our exterior renderings as hints of traditional Moroccan style within the otherwise purely contemporary buildings.
